Is EduDrive a diploma mill, an essay-writing / cheating service, or an AI-income course?
No. EduDrive is an edtech AI studio that designs and delivers adaptive learning, intelligent tutoring, content generation and formative assessment tools for education organizations — always with an educator in the loop. We do not issue diplomas or degrees; we do not write essays, complete homework or enable exam cheating; and we do not sell "make money with AI" courses. "Edu" means education; "Drive" means momentum in learning. Our tools support academic integrity and require educator review. We do not guarantee grades, admission or outcomes.
How do engagements work — project or retainer?
Most clients start with a fixed-scope discovery or learning pilot (four to twelve weeks), then expand into a production project or ongoing retainer. Discovery maps adaptive learning opportunities, LMS integration constraints and data governance. Pilots prove value with a single cohort or module before wider rollout. Retainers cover model QA, guardrails maintenance and curriculum updates as your organization scales.
What are typical budgets in CAD?
Discovery phases run C$12,000–C$28,000. Learning pilots range from C$18,000–C$45,000. Full production projects for adaptive tutoring or assessment support typically land between C$35,000 and C$95,000 depending on project scope, integrations and reviewer workload. Retainers start around C$4,500–C$6,500 per month. We quote in Canadian dollars; taxes extra where applicable.
How long does discovery take?
Four to six weeks for most higher-education and K-12 clients. Shorter for SME pilots with a narrow module; longer when multiple faculties or provincial privacy reviews are involved. You receive a prioritised roadmap, risk register and prototype specification — not a generic slide deck.
Which models, tools and platforms do you use?
We select models based on your privacy requirements, latency needs and content type — commercial APIs, open-weight models or client-hosted deployments. Tooling spans Python services, vector stores for retrieval-augmented tutoring, and integrations with Canvas, Moodle, D2L and custom LMS platforms common in Canada. We document every choice so your IT team can audit it.
How is student and client data handled?
Student-data privacy is governed by PIPEDA and, where applicable, Ontario FIPPA. We minimize collection, encrypt data in transit and at rest, and document processing locations. Who owns intellectual property?
Your curriculum content stays yours. Custom code, model configurations and documentation are licensed per contract — typically client ownership for bespoke builds, with EduDrive retaining rights to general-purpose frameworks. We never train public models on your proprietary materials without explicit written consent.
How do you keep educators in the loop?
Human-in-the-loop review is mandatory before learner-facing release. Faculty approve tutoring templates, edit generated content, and sign off on grading assistance passes. Override controls let teachers correct model output in real time. We train reviewers to spot hallucinations, bias and off-curriculum drift.
What academic integrity safeguards do you build in?
Learning guardrails block answer completion on assessed work. Logging supports audit when misuse is suspected. Content generation refuses to produce full assignment submissions. We red-team tools for cheating enablement during model QA. Our work supports integrity — it does not undermine it.
Do you guarantee grades, admission or job outcomes?
No. AI in education can support formative assessment and feedback, but learning outcomes depend on teaching quality, learner effort and context we do not control. We do not promise grades, test scores, scholarships, admission or employment. Any metrics on our Work page are past illustrative results.
What do you explicitly not do?
We do not grant credentials, operate as an essay mill, sell income courses, provide life coaching, offer financial or immigration advice, or build surveillance tools for students. We are not a standalone SaaS you sign up for — we deliver studio services for client organizations.
